Flower Care Tips
Keep those blooms looking their best!
For hand-tied bouquets:
- Remove wrap, but keep the stems tied to maintain the arrangement
- Hold bouquet up to your vase so the lowest bloom is at the top edge of the vase
- Trim stems accordingly
For vase and compote arrangements:
- Cut flowers prefer cool environments away from direct sunlight
- Check water level upon delivery, and refresh daily
- Change water every 3 days and re-trim stems to encourage them to drink
- Blooms all have different vase-lives, anywhere from 4-7+ days. For mulit-bloom stems, snip off the spent blooms. Carefully pull out spent stems by twisting and lifting.
For corsages and boutonnieres:
- Store in their sealed bags in the fridge away from cold spots and fruit
- (tropicals like orchids should not go in the fridge, store these in a cool, dark spot, like a basement)
