Flower Care Tips

Keep those blooms looking their best!

For hand-tied bouquets:

  • Remove wrap, but keep the stems tied to maintain the arrangement
  • Hold bouquet up to your vase so the lowest bloom is at the top edge of the vase
  • Trim stems accordingly

For vase and compote arrangements:

  • Cut flowers prefer cool environments away from direct sunlight
  • Check water level upon delivery, and refresh daily
  • Change water every 3 days and re-trim stems to encourage them to drink
  • Blooms all have different vase-lives, anywhere from 4-7+ days. For mulit-bloom stems, snip off the spent blooms. Carefully pull out spent stems by twisting and lifting.

For corsages and boutonnieres:

  • Store in their sealed bags in the fridge away from cold spots and fruit
    • (tropicals like orchids should not go in the fridge, store these in a cool, dark spot, like a basement)
